1. lift and support the fron right end of the car and take off the front right wheel.
2. Remove the screws on your wheel well as shown in the pic... also remove the screws on the triangler cover plate on the bottom right under the fog light.
3. Unscrew the first nut on the bottom of your car, It should be connected to a mount on your tow hooks. this nut is deep down so you need to reach out with your arm.
4. The the tricky part is to pull the wheel well plastic back a little and look horizontally across towards the engine. there should be a nut. Use a 10mm socket and a long extension or a couple short ones, and unscrew this. then just pull the rubber pieace off.(marked in pic as "comes right off").
5. Pull the resonator along with the Y hard plastic tube and the extension tube on the other end of the Y shaped tube.
6. remove the fog light cover from the fender; for the non sport version it is held by a little screw at one side... take it off and the other dide will come right off. don't know about the sport though.
7.now you have successfuly removed your resonator but you still have two options to choose from:
First: keep things as they are; you removed the restriction off your intake but the car will sound too loud.
Second: put back the Y shaped tube on the bottom of the air box; you removed the restriction also but the car won't sound as loud as without the tube.
my pesonal recommendation it to take a test drive without the tube to see if you like the sound (remeber to floor it during the test)... if you don't like it that loud then put back the tube, it won't affet performance, just the sound.
The Y shaped tube gets attached to the rubber fitting at the bottom of the air box... could be nice to have a T wrap around that rubber part to prevent the tube from falling off, mine already fell twice... you will know that it fell when the intake suddnly sounds too loud.
