anyone know how hard it is to replace the radiator in our cars? (lanos 1.6)
thanks again!
First while the engine is cool, drain the coolant. There is a little pastic wing nut/bolt on the drivers side near the bottom of the radiator.
Next you'll want to disconnect the connections to the fans. There should be two of them. Then remove to two top mounts. I believe they are 10mm. Remove all hoses attached to the radiator. If you have an automatic transmission, put a pan under to catch some tranny fluid. By this point you should be able to lift up on the radiator.
Once you have it out, it may be a good idea to clean in around where the radiator sits as you'll never have that opportunity again.
To install the new one just follow the above proceedure in reverse.
