I think Tom ( 360 Dynamics ) will have access to one or two soon..... but who knows if it will be a resonable price... for some reason the Koreans want way too much money for their body kits.

He's shown me a few different models he's found but the price was unbelivably expensive ( probably would have to sell for $2000USD !!)

I know he's doing lots of research... hopefully he will find a decently priced one soon.

I really want a "widebody" Optra..... Tom showed me a photoshoped version and it's exactly what I was looking to get.

Of course this will mean that I will have to buy a pre-existing kit for another car and modify it but atleast it will be unique.

If you get a wide-body kit or whatever.. can you get wider wheels?

Yes.... wider wheels are the whole reason for a wide body kit.

You have to change the offset which can lead to some strange steering issues..... when you go over a bump the car will want to pull really hard and the road gives lots of feedback.... you feel absolutely everything... you have to keep a strong arm on the wheel or you might find yourself in the other lane.

Some cars do this on purpose.... such as F1 cars..... but they are on a very smooth surface and they really want to feel every single bump in the road.

Wider tires might also require some modifications to the body work underneath the wide body kit..... in some cases you have to keep it as a wide body due to the fact that the regular body has been heavily modified (such as removing part of the wheel arch )

I love feeling every bit of the road.. makes me feel more incontrol.. thats another reason why i want bigger rims (smaller profile tires). But if you get wider tires is handling better at low speeds? I know (or think i do) its much better at higher speeds. But wasnt sure about lower speeds, like daily driving

I want a wide body to get at least 8inch wide wheels, 9 inches would be nice though 8)

I feel you man.... Had a Contour with 17's low profile tires... sucked.
Now with a Lanos sucks even more... even though I have 14's, they're still low profile and my car's lowered a lot on front... so every hit makes me want to cry.

That's why I'm switching to Eibach during summer!!

I like it, except when the street it slanted it. Especial when it isnt at first and then all of a sudden it is, that really throws me off.
