I was thinking about it, my only concern if if the projector can handle the heat of the oven.

if u r worried then just keep the oven door a bit open to let the extra heat go away, keep watching it while they r in the oven and just do it lol

guyz, i didnt use anything at all when i was doing mine, only a cutter and a sharp screw driver and i was totally relying on those head projectors covers never break...so a lil bit forcing the cover to open after cutting the silicon with the cutter and helping by the screw driver, and everything was fine ;)

Question

Post by Man with no name »

Hey Mocpac, did you notice any improvements when you switched from the short ram to the full intake? I see you are using the spectre intake, which is what I have right now.
I also have an extra tube that could be used to place the filter in the hole where the resonator used to be. Is it worth the change?

Thanks, and congrats on the nubi...its smooth and clean

Yes and no, the car have many mods already and the intake (a complete cai) was there before then I change for a short ram then again for a complete cai now I have a short ram again will be converted in a CAI again in a few days. Difference, as before I cant no notice a lot, but the first time yes, was notable. Our engines make a lot of heat that make the engine bay air hot, so my recommendation, take the intake out.

Thanks,

do you mean take it out as in add another tube to the short ram to take the filter away from the engine bay?

Thats a nice bumper, I just don't like how much it flares out at the wheel arch. Are your wide arches gonna go in line with that? That would l;ook better, but then your wheels would sit in too far unless they're a lower offset.

I do like it, and there's some work in doing stuff like that, nice job man, it's tidy :smt023

Im looking for the expansion of the fender. I will check them on Friday. By the way with the Wheel straight front dont look too wide or out of the arch of th wheel. If you chk the 3rd pic the front bumper is just a littler wider than the back bumper.

I will check also for a nice set of 18"rims or maybe 17"with a bigger tire like 205/45/17 instead of 205/40.

Any one know if the tire that have the Lancer 08 GTS 215/45/18 can feet or is too big?

That'd definatly look nice. Always been a fan of wide arches. Not over kill ones, but one's like those on the second pic you posted.

Won't you need wheels with a lower offset rather than wider tyres to suit the arches?

Are you gonna cut away the original arch or leave them and fiber glass over it?

If your woo's anything like mine and is based around Vauxhall, the wheel offset should be around 49. So you'd be best going for some with like 30-35ish, not sure, but to suit your arches.

Well If I put some 18"x7.5 rims with 215/35/18 probably dont need to cut it. But if you go to the spanis section beto have 18 wheels and even with his car drop more than mine compared with my old 17" looks the same.
