Thanks, I've scrapped the 2.0 swap so I'll be putting a 1.6L back in it. :(

I used Vinyl on the doors. Not the vinyl you find in decals but the actual fabric type vinyl.

As for the 2.0 project. I just don't have the time or money to do it right now. I found a 1.6L with only 4K miles on it so I'm putting that back in. This way I'll have a spare block to play with.

Yo Shaun... Agent Smith managed to do a 2.2 swap on his Lanos, i guess the results of that swap would be much better than the 2.0 swap.

Why is it better? It's only like 2hp more.... doesn't it weight more as well?

Well I'm sorry to say that no drivetrain swaps will be taking place any time soon.

It will be alive again really soon.

Swapped the engine out this weekend.
As with many of my own projects this weekend was filled with hurdles but we almost got it all done.

Get everything all bolted up today. I went to start it for the first time in over 6 months. -click- -click-... The starter is locked up. So I have to take everything back off to take the damn starter back out and have it tested to be sure if that's the problem. I already sourced another starter so I can have that tomorrow in case the starter is bad.

It's been a very long weekend.

VVVVVRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM

It's alive....

The new engine only has 4,000 miles on it. It's like a new woo. :)

Anyways I figured out what the problem was. My ring terminal on my power wire going to the starter came loose.
Put a new ring terminal on today and it started right up.

Well I got some pics but the car was really dirty plus I never resized them. I'll try to get some better ones this weekend as the car will be freshly detailed for the car cruise on Sunday.

Updated my mod list and sponsors for this year.

Don't mind my car being so dirty. This was taken a few weeks ago after it had been sitting in a garage for the past 6 months.
Enjoy

Look how low the bumper is to the ground.

mmm Love the curves of that bumper.

Full Side angle Shot. Notice I'm tuckin' in the front. Will be tucking in the rear once I install the stereo system.
