Daewoo Nexia C20XE from Berlin / Germany

Post by Dagobert_Berlin »

Hello, I'm new in here and I've found this nice and interest Forum by clicking through the Web.

My name ist Mark, I'm 34 years old, an I drive a Daewoo Nexia 1,5 GL Junior with "some" changes :D

Firstly a C20XE came in, then Leather from Recaro, a digital speedo blue lightened, further an exhaust from Bastuck and many many more.

Here is a pic of it:

Welcome! Very nice work, hopefully you will enjoy the forum.

..I would not have thought that Daewoo would be sold in Germany with Opel being available, the cars on the Germant Daewoo site are very nice.

hope to see more pics posted,

Garrett

Isn't that a perfect swap? Did you leave your stock gearbox?

Yes. I had my lanos on stock gearbox... It was killer combination with C20XE with headworks... But on the highway, fifth speed 100mph and 5200rpm...

Now I have C20LET on F28 and it is little heavier, but very fast...

lol, I think so

But the only Reconstruction I'll ever make is taken a 3.0 MV6 Kompressor into the Nexia. So 280 HP will be enough.... 8) But there's no money in my bag at this time... So I have to wait...

No, they are from the '90 GSI and the DashBoard is from a Astra '94 ;)

mmmmm......Connolly leather.... aren't they near impossible to find in a good condition? Vauxhall Astra mk3 (what I meant) is a 94 Opel Astra, so I was correct ;-)

In good condition they're very very rare. Mostly the driverseat ist ugly.

I don't know from when to when the Astra was produced. In Germany it was the KADETT from 84 to 91 and the ASTRA from 91 to 96. So, my seats are from the KADETT. And the dashboard is from the ASTRA.
