i made a heat shield for my air filter. its made from a piece of heating and cooling ducting. its very thin steel so its light weight. it seems to be helping keep the hot air from being sucked into the engine.

im gonna see how things work out, if it is all good, ill make a really nice one. if not ill just get a rerular old CAI

well i have 1.2"drop Eibachs for the car, soon ill do that, should be nice. it seems to handle better.

Looks good! I like the look of your rims much better with the car lowered...they fill in the fender wells better.

i actually took the heat shield off saturday. it was ok, but i think it might have been restricting air flow too. i may get a CAI again one day soon, we will see

I rigged up a CAI for my car the other day...it's not the prettiest but it gets the job done. only set me back $50 bucks and a little bit of labor.

if you have a 1.6 why didnt you just get a cai from a 94+ integra gsr and cut it, it would have costed you $40 shipped, thats withe air filter, they arent the greatest but its a filter. thats what i plan on doing if i go cai again
