lol same here, but for more than a second... I actually imagined what it would look like if the shopping center was on the other side, and that's when it finally made sense.

Back to the car... looks absolutely clean and awesome!

im in the uk, and its rolling on 17s, cause 15s look to small, and 16s are hard to find, and very exspensive for tyres. the wheels cost me ?370 (uk) which is very cheap. the car has a few minor marks, but looks better in the photo.

im guna decide long and hard if im going to RESPRAY THE WHOLE CAR, if i do, im guna get everything sorted, ie lose the ariel, all the holes from the badges, rear wiper, side repeater holes, spray the run rails at the top, and a few other bits. but i wont keep it white.

the wheels suite the car, il get some more day time pics. its loud, and pretty fast, and in the uk, 17s aint even classed as big rims now...everyones going 18's, 19s etc. and i think the 17s look small on my car. anyway, will post some more pics soon. thanks for the comments.

i had them exact same 17s on a 2000 w reg 1.4, and a 98 1.6 daewoo lanos, theres no problem, but you will need to get your rear archs ROLLED / CUt if your guna have any weight in the back or it will rub on bumps.

and if your guna lower the car, its even more so.

other than that, my car lowered 40mm on 17s with the rear arches rolled doesnt give me any troubles, no rubbing on the rear except at 100mph over a HUGE bump, and only a tiny bit of rubbing on the fronts on full lock on a hill/slope. well worth it i think

Maybe the offset is incorrect. You NEED to get an offset of 40mm or more, otherwise it will rub. I have Eibach springs (1.2 inch drop) and 15x6.5 with 40mm offset. NO rubbing what so ever. So make sure the offset is right and then you will have no problems.
