well, i have a 1998 leganza, and the only problems it has ever had (my mum got it new) have been in the 6 months. I blew the main bearing in the motor (it was diagnosed a bad bearing when the car was near new, but too much effort to replace), air con compressor is busted and at the moment it has a blown trans. My dads 2001 mercedes on the other hand, has had the computer remapped once, all the airbag sensors replaced, electric windows re done, and the cars central control everything computer re done. Its just the nature of owning a car, not just the type of car. The good ol woo owes less in repairs than the benz (the benz was made in america which is prolly why its been so dodgy)

i think a corolla got a more steep hatch... this one looks like an Audi A3 or so... the wheels are too small for an Audi though... i am confused

The car next to mine was definitely a Toyota Corolla Levin.

I've been photochopping some mag wheels onto the Lanos to experiment and see what it would look like. What do you think?

I don't know! I just sized them so they looked proportional... they probably look like 17".

I brought my 2002 lanos AT limited version (alloy wheel and spoil) in sydney, only 21000kM.

The price is AUD8400.00 , so some times it is better to purchase from private.

BTW, tHE 2nd Car in Australia is expensive . :?:

That is really quite expensive!

I paid $5,900.00 USD / $7,850 AUD for my 2002 Lanos new with only 8 miles / 12 km on the odometer.

Nice car & color! LOL - it's the same as mine: silver hatchback. :D

Oh yeah ... welcome to the forum!
