i know it been a long time since my last post....

so here is a short story.....

i been busy latly with family thing, and work stuff

any how..

i have my backbox sorted.. i only need a exhaust hanger to weld in to place at the back too stop it bouncing, on big pot hole and speed bumps..

my race pipe is welded together.. but thier is a problem

i forgot to check the flange before welding..

so i will have to grind the welds...hopefully tomorrow.
thou i will have to weld it someother time

i finally welded the pipe correctly last week.... and installed..

and my friend just got a daewoo lanos as a first car thou it only 1.4 it got a few problems but it will soon get sorted

AH! hello, long time no speak.

good to see my old backbox still being used in full swing... sounds good too. completely different from what it sounded like on my car.

i had to take my exhaust off to save some money..

i am planning on re doing the front dashboard, i start doing some design. i glad i know how to my dials out...hehe

ok..

after my car passed it mot and i have a friend that will do my MOT every year..(as long it is safe off course)

i start my exhaust again. on saturday i when to my grans and ARC weld some of the little holes i had in my last weld.( i didn't make it completely air tight)
now the rear back box in completely air tight, and i fix a support bracket in place... so it sit higher and more better in place.

as for the centre silenter it still on. i have a race pip to replace it but i still need to make it completely air tight, i hoping to do that this week,

i also plan in removeing my air resonater, sitting my air fitter better, dials, and a cold air feed.

with the cold air feed i thinking on placing a vent in the front bumper. or something. and feeding it to hole where the resonater used to connect to the air box.

i sure there and some dials i can just swap i know our daewoo dials are connect via the screws hold it in. but i have to do some research on this first.. i like to know how Mr_G did his dials

ok today i remove the air resonater and my air con belt...

my air not work anyways so why should i have to give it my engine power when i could use to go faster....lol.

i little update...

car failed MOT last week, i even put old Exhaust on first :@

the emission were really high, on monday the mot garage said the CATT had to be replace, which cost me £140

so now the is "road legal"

i am waiting for some time off to look at the exhaust may be even fit my straint pipe with the 3.5" back box. but i am going to have weld some hanger on first

my clutch really need doing, so i am hoping it will last a few more weeks, then i have my week off and can give car to a bloke who will fit it for me, he said it would cost about £250 to kit and labour. i figure i try and get the kit to make it quicker,

if you're interested I have a performance kit ready to be shipped. it is kevlar, the same that I have been driving on the street for over a year.

it is the complete kit for the lanos with 4-puck kevlar disc, pressure plate and bearing. I would like to sell it for 200EUR delivered.

Look at replacing ur o2 sensor first before buying a new cat-converter.

its the same problem i had, the emissions were sky high due to the o2 sensor switching too slow.

you can pick them up free from scrapyards, just find a matching one, take it off the manifold and stick it down your sock. thats what i did.
if you're not too confident with using a second-hand sensor, then get two or more. not gonna cost u any more lol
