Picked up an 1990 Eagle Talon Tsi the other day. needs some work and the big thing is to get rid of the cheapy BOV and put the recirc valve back. Swappin the turbo out with my t3 from the aveo boost project and i got lots of other goodies for it.

starting the sanding process

finish,will get a better pic when the light gets a bit better. it needs another sanding, coat of paint, and some clear anyways. will be picking up a spray gun for the final coats.

its made by eagel, who was part of chrysler. but its a sister car to the mitsubishi elips. is it the awd verson?

lol my friend has same car same color he painted some accesorries on the outside (healights cover, etc.) red.

its eagle, but mitsubishi changed only the logos on the car and thats about it

Eagle Talon, Mitsubishi Eclipse, and Plymouth Laser are all the same cars, just different badges. the big diff with the talon is that they put that strange lip spoiler on it while the other versions didnt get it. and no, its not the awd version

but its still pretty qwik. Next weekend i will be tearing it apart (hopefully) to rebuild all the shoddy workmanship on it.

4G63 is a good engine.... check for coolant leaks.... every single one we had on the dyno at my friends shop seemed to spit out small amounts of coolant from various locations.

Most guys go with a simple MAF translator and up the boost to have fun

I've seen a number of them get up into the 250whp to 300whp range without major upgrades.

i essentially just want to bring it back into spec as much as i can. I just got my recirc valve yesterday so that should help smooth things out and then my next major buy will be the DSM Link to help tune it and such. i kind of want to put my neo in it but ive read that without a logger it can be dangerous so i figure if im gonna spend that kind of money i may as well get a specific tuning tool for the car.
