F/S 2000 Lanos HB + ton of goodies

Post by daewooluvr »

Updates in blue

This is a very unique car to take to car shows. When I took mine last one I got alot of compliments for hooking up something so different. You get alot of points just from the hard to find and custom parts. It will definately turn alot of heads.

I do not really want to get rid of it however I'm finally coming to terms with the fact that I'll never get done to it what I'd like to get done. So my loss is your gain. The car in question here is none other than my:

2000 Daewoo Lanos S Hatchback
1.6L DOHC engine
Automatic Transmission
Forest Green Paint

As for Price, KBB private party value for my zip 17501 is $2,395 with 72000Miles on the clock in good condition.

This is NO LONGER a daily driver so would make an interesting project for anyone interested.

With the sale of this car you'll also get a storage unit full of spare and show parts which include a body kit (minus rear bumper), extra set of wheels, and a dressed up engine. Also a bunch of strobes and undercar LED kit all by streetglow. Another extra is a complete OEM hid set up from a 2005 Mercedes Benz S500 and an extra set of headlight buckets. There is alot more parts in storage and it would take me forever to go though it all.

Many of the parts are not installed and are in storage (removed from my last Lanos). I have installed a few on the hatchback.

This includes:
EXTERIOR
Sylvania Silverstar headlights - Installed
Jetspeed Front Bumper - not installed
Veilside Side Skirts - not installed

ENGINE
8.5mm Magnacor Racing Spark Plug Wires - Installed
Custom Cold Air Intake - not installed
Custom Short Ram Intake - Installed
Custom 2.5" cat back exhaust piping - Installed
Ported intake Manifold - no longer installed
Ported exhaust manifold - no longer installed
Bored out throttle body - no longer installed
Custom Ground and Power wire kit (4ga) - no longer installed
Powdercoated EVERYTHING - on dress engine
AEM FPR w/ steel braided lines - no longer installed
Polished fuel rail - no longer installed

SOUND/VIDEO
Alpine Head Unit - Installed
Audiobahn 6.5" 3 way component sets ABC6003Q in rear - Installed

INTERIOR
Silver Carbon Fiber Dash Trim Kit - Installed
Custom brushed aluminum Gauge Bezzle - Installed

WHEELS/SUSPENSION/BRAKES
17"x7" Powdercoated white with Machined Lip - Installed
Also a set of 14" stock alloys (2 powdercoated, 2 painted -didn't get time to have other two powdercoated) - not installed
205-40-17 Nankang NS-1 tires
Sharkracing Strut tower brace - no longer installed (also powdercoated)
Eibach 1.5" Pro-Kit lower springs (powdercoated) - Installed
KYB front struts - Installed
KYB rear shocks - Installed
Centric Cross Drilled & Slotted rotors (powdercoated) - Installed
EBC Green Stuff Brake pads (powdercoated) - Installed
Goodridge Stainless Steel brake lines - Fronts Installed
Front Brake Caliper Powdercoated - Installed
Rear Brake Drum Powdercoated - Installed

Also included is the full factory service manuals and electrical guide.

The Bad: Airbag Light is on (could be a short in the ignition or the drivers side airbag - you can find one pretty cheap and replace) Windshield is scratched (not bad but not show quality) Brake Rotor Retaining screw missing (causes a clunky sound when you hit a bump - easy fix) AC Compressor is shot (have a spare but haven't installed yet)

There are so many more parts that I'm forgetting right now so if you're interested please contact me and we can set something up to check it all out.

Now for the pics:

Jetspeed front bumper on my old Lanos.

Sorry for the crapiness of the pics but that's all I really have right now.

If anyone is seriously interested I could wash her up and take some new pics.

Not willing to sell off any parts. This is an all or nothing deal.

Feel Free to ask any relevant questions.

Hey...since I already got a block that I need to pick up, I'm really gonna have to think about this. I wouldn't mind having another lanos.

Questions: Are you including the ported and polished head/throttlebody/groundingkit...etc. that is not installed? I know you listed it I just wanted to make sure it was included and I could put it back on the car. I'll pm you later about the car and all the parts.

Everything is included.

The Head isn't ported/polished, just the Intake Manifold, Exhaust Manifold, and TB.

Seriously, you'll need to come up in a truck to take everything home.

Also, I forgot to note, there are 3 small dents in the body. 2 can very easy be pushed back out. One however will need filled (it's on the hatch right next to the glass on a crease.)

Actually the company I bought it from is no longer around "www.kickindash.com"

This Lanos needs wheel bearings but that's about it. If someone gives me a resonable offer I'd put the wheel bearings in asap.

Runs just fine. Needs a rear wheel bearing but I'll be putting that in this weekend. Everything else is listed above.

I'm gonna see how much it'll cost to get a new rear axle and brakes and I'll pm you with an offer...we'd have to get it to tn though. So needing an axle...there's no way it'll make it to tn is there?
