the advantage to using a kit like this is with it and the dis 2 kit and and adjustable fmu/regulator, you can completely control all of the air/fuel and spark systems without needing a computer.
you can adjust everything without a computer minus the sensors which can be switched out or tricked.
the timing control usually goes for over $150-$200 but i have no use for it now cause i'm getting the emanage from domwoo.

works great if you want to be able to adjust everything manually and save the money on the laptop and all the systems to run your piggy back that way.
if your using an emanage, go to greddy' web site and you can see what it costs to run a timing control with the piggy back. this msd controler is a great value but i already have the laptop and software from a previous job.
