header flanges

i offer a set of header flanges for the ecotec and non-ecotec 2.0 SOHC motor as well as the T20, T22, U22, ect.
the head flange come in 1/2" stainless with reliefes cut for heat expansion
it also comes with EGR block off plates 1/4" mild steel
they are the highest quality flanges ever created period!
they are designed for custom turbo setup but they would ofcource work for N/A applications.

here are some pics of the prototype. i ment to upload copies of the CNC blueprints to see what the final product will look like. I'm having problems with the pump on the waterjet so as soon as i get a flowjet tech out here i'll get the final product out.
the prototype is in 3/8 mild steel and doesn't have the reliefs cut at the bolt holes like finished prduct but you can get an idea of the quality.
if i can't get the flowjet looked at this week i'll atleast post the blueprints.

but you get more then what yo pay for.

$100 shipped is a decent price..... especially considering most shops charge a nominal setup fee that makes purchasing a single flange more expensive.

I was going to get 10 flanges made and sell them to those who were interested.... but if your allready making them I might as well buy it off you and save on setup fees.

I need one to move the spacing on my 2.0L 16V ( U20SED ) turbo manifold outwards.... my big T04E compressor touches the block.

Due to the fact that I have a cast iron manifold I'd actually prefer one made from mild steel since it's expansion ratio is slightly closer to cast iron than stainless.

What kind of price could you give me for a mild steel version 1/2" thick?

Chris, you are right about the expation rate however mild steel will sag and crack in half the time of stainless. SS will let off the heat instead soaking it up and causing failure in your part like MS. if you want MS i can figure a price and if you can get me seven or eight orders i'll get you one in 1/2 MS free.

I've seen what a few hard dyno runs will do to a Mild steel turbo manifold so I would allways recomend Stainless for making a custom manifold.

Given it's being used as a spacer and nothing more.... it shouldn't be a problem to use MS.

Do you feel like selling your prototype??

i was thinking that in the first place but then i thought that if you were building a header that you should have a production piece. the ports are off left to right by about 1/32 or so and the hole size is offset to fit tubingor, if you think you can use it and it wouldn't cause turbulence in your manifold then you can have it. email your address and i'll get it out to you, just pay shipping.
