Post by xtremelumina92 »

As you all know i sold my Aveo and had the silverstars in for about 4 months and they rock! I thought i'd try to sell them to other import guys first. I think they were about $40.00 or so when i bought them. They are much better then stock and give off much more light. I'll sell them for $30.00 plus shipping. later all Jay

sorry fellas! i still have them and still for sale.
I hate to admit it, but the aveo was a cheap built car, and lacked stability, but damn i sortta miss that car, it felt so good with the 17's, exhaust, tint and the damn fart cannon on it!

Anyway, i still ahve them, hit me up at loeridr6792 @ aol.com
(i put a space in that addy so i don't get spammed, so take the spaces out if u want to email me) later all Jay

I have Silverstars on my 2004 Aveo. They are H4's - which are 9003's, not 9007's.
The 9007's have an entirely different (plastic) connector base type. The Aveo requires the round, flat-metal base with 3 extended tabs found on the 9003 (H4).
Go and check the pictures....

i guess i was wrong, thats what they must be then, i had them in my aveo, and they are a little three pronged metal piece. So in other words they were in my aveo, so they fit your guy's cars even if i am a moron and don't know the bulb number.

U using 17 inch on aveo? What tyres you use?
205/35/17 or 205/40/17?

Will the big wheel rub against the wheel arches when you full lock the wheel? Will the pick up acceleration power suffers due to the oversize rims?

Aveos in Singapore are using 155/80/R13 (stock steel rims with wheel caps) and 195/50/R15 (sports rims) mainly. Very few use 16 inch, I have never seen any aveos using 17 inches rims. I guess I will be the first if I do that.

ask for the pics form someone here, they have them. I forgot what size i got i think they were 205/40/17's and no rubbing what so ever, but it did raise the ride height a few inches :D I used toyos on the rims and loved them along with my rims. Later Jay

BTW silverstars sold for $25

Thanks for your reply.

I am glad that there is no rubbing. Most slightly I will be getting either 205/40/R16 or 205/35/R17 for my aveo. (17 inch low profile tyres cost a bomb here in Singpore).

A raised Aveo...hmm...looks like a mini SUV haha.
