You know... I just don't have the 'mad respect' for a guy who wants a tricked out car but doesn't do the work (or most of the work) themselves.
Of course... I also don't have 'mad respect' for someone who thinks that people reacting to him being a schmuck means that those people are 'haters' when in fact, they're just being honest. haha

As much as i'm glad that you're going to get paid, and for you to get paid for the work too... I do lose even more respect for him no being able to do the work himself... BUT His loss is your gain!!! =Ddaewooluvr wrote:Thanks guys. If he's willing to pay me to do the work then all the better. We'll see if he shows this weekend.

PM me a price for all the parts and another price for all the parts plus the car.
If you work something out with Tony C and he doesn't need the spare engine let me know what you want for it.
I have yet another Lemans.... and this one has an 8V 1.6L in poor condition..... I might turbo the 1.6L and turn it into an ice racer since the chassis has some damage allready.
I originally bought it so that I could peel off the bumpers to get my Turbo Lemans back to my house.... plus it had new Eurospec head lamps.
If I could get a decent engine for it I might have some fun with it.... I only paid a couple hundred for it in the first place.

I hope you got what it was worth...daewooluvr wrote:Well Tony showed up this weekend with cash in hand. If anyone needs anything you'll have to talk to him.
Everything is still in my garage until I'm done swapping parts over for him.
Did Tony get banned? I haven't seen him in here spouting off at us recently (thankfully)

Yeah I think I did pretty well considering most of it was used. You can never expect to get back what you put out.JohnnyC wrote:I hope you got what it was worth...daewooluvr wrote:Well Tony showed up this weekend with cash in hand. If anyone needs anything you'll have to talk to him.

I think he said something about going away for a few days for business. Enjoy the break I guess hahaha.
I don't think he's as bad in person as he is on here but then again he might have just been being nice since I'm workin' on his ride. hahaha
Well... that's good that you think you got a decent amount for the stuff. I still would have rather you sold it to someone else (that guy really just rubs me the wrong way... in general).
Who knows though... Maybe he'll grow up a bit when dealing with people on the internet... It's a syndrome I've seen far too many times before. They get on the internet and have the safety and security of not having to look the people in the eyes that they're talking to. Suddenly they start saying things they would NEVER say to anyone in person. What they fail to realize is that they're still being judged in the same fashion as if they were standing right in front of these people.
Example: Some guy is stranded on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere while a thunderstorm is raging. I pull over to pick the guy up to give him a lift to safety. So I ask the guy, "Hey... you need a lift somewhere?" ... "Yeah! Thanks!" he says... I ask, "What's your name? He says, "Tony". I say, "Tony what?" he says, "Clifton"... I say, "Yeah? Wow... I'm JohnnyC, from Daewootech!" ... He says, "NO WAY?!" ... "Yes way!" I say with a smile and drive off leaving him to walk.
Boy... I almost feel better about having to put up with that guy for just imagining that situation!

Well the thing is I doubt anyone else would be willing to pay as much.
