even if this is still available you prolly dont want it danny. i know your gonna put a 2.0 in your lanos, and from waht ive heard this strut bar wont clear the throttle body. hopefully some one can say for sure but i remember hearing some where that it wont clear.

that strut bar would clear the tb heres a pick of a lanos with the 2.2 with the strut bar

Looks like it wouldn't, barley. How much room is there between the top of the strut brace (over the TB) and the hood? I could always use spacers

looking at this pic i dont think this is the shark raceing strut bar. i have one and it looks similar to this but different.

notice how much longer the angled pieces are on my strut bar. the angled pieces on the white cars strut bar are shorter and on a sharper angle. there is only an inch and a half from the top of my intake mani to the bottom of the strut bar. i dont know how hight the 2.0/2.2 throttle body sits up so it still might be in the way.

skinner is right those aren't the same strut bar. where the angle starts is only like an inch or so from the strut mounts while the sharkracing one is a good three inches from it.

well skinner has my old one and i bought mine bout 5 years ago. not sure if they made different ones or not but the ones they sell now don't fit it.

Why not just make one that goes around it? It'd probably be cheaper to get a shop to bend it. Or make one in 2 parts, that go from each strut top to the bulkhead like the Celica GTs/GT4s came with..

Yeah we'll probably just build a new one...we've done sway bars before. I want to tie it into the firewall and possibly use a torque damper on the engine.
