I really just want the chassis ( outer shell, tires, suspension, steering system including wheel and column )

Everything else could be stripped off and sold as far as I'm concerned.

I'd like the engine just to fool with but it's not that important

So... let me know what you want price wise for the chassis.

guys... this is really sad

a Woo sold for 200USD thats a bit over 1,000LE... my head unit almost costs that much.

if daewoos where that cheap here i would have got half a dozen ones and tryed almost every project i can think of and not worry about distroying it.. unfortunatly this is not the case as a brand new lanos would cost some 11,000USD here

maybe i should move to USA and do this for real... only problem will be the lack of spare parts their so i have to buy a pile of things and ship them with me to the USA.

sorry for hijacking but the prices you mentioned are just insane.

neither... i know car prices are so low in the US compared to Egypt... a friend of mine got a ford escort for 500USD

it is just how different things are here and in the US rather than your particular case... indeed it will be a very good deal to get a woo for 200USD but i will have to ship it to Egypt and pay the customs due on her which will some up to even more than what a brand new one costs here.

i guess the problem is in the stupid customs we have... you know if you got a Mercedes or a BMW you pay 200% of the cars price + shipping as customs so practically you buy a car and give 2 to the government... the hell with this country

well, ive been calling scrap yards. one has offered me 400$ for my lanos. if someone on here wants it first, id rather sell it to a forum member than a scrap yard. if i dont get any bites by the time the title makes it to my apt, im selling it to the scrap yard.

dig deep guys! 15k miles on the tranny. that makes it WAY more than worth it!
