Lightweight steel flywheels
Hi, I am a manufacturer for lightweight steel flywheels in the uk, we make all vauxhall flywheels which i believe are also used in Daewoo vehicles... c20let c20xe ecotec 8v etc
Our flywheels are competition quality CNC machined chromoly
dynamically balanced
1 piece integral ring gear for safety and reliability
I am happy to post the flywheels anywhere in the world.
The flywheels are the best on the market.
So please tell me if i can help with anything.
Here is an example of an ecotec flat flywheel

As a side note Daft Art is currently not selling parts, so there are other oportunities.
Given the good exchange rate from UK to USD it makes parts from your country more affordable.
Do you have other items you would consider supplying such as clutches ?

Hi yes i can supply clutches aswell, do you struggle to get them?
Anyway regarding the flywheels, it would be great to supply your forum users... i always discount the products slightly for forums or clubs.
The only thing i may need your help with is matching up the flywheels you need with our uk equivilent so i know what flywheel is for what car.
The flywheel shown above is the flywheel that is used in our 1.8 and 2.0 8v engines (old engines) and our 1.8 2.0 16v ecotec engines.
The flywheel shown above would be £165 + postage
The flywheels are machined from chromoly steel billets, they are 1 piece for safety and reliability and are also dynamically balanced by us, so they come ready to fit.
we also do our flywheels with the option to use a race clutch 7 1/4 inch and 5 1/2 inch.
These flywheels are race/competition quality flywheels we supply them all around the world to engine builders and tuners and for many race series also. so as you can image for the quality of the product the price is probably half what it would normally be.
Ive put the details in so i could see what postage costs to canada would be and these are the results, we may be able to find them cheaper with another carrier, if you do have anything we will look into this nearer the time.
Service Delivery Compensation Tracking Price
International Datapost From 2 days Up to £ 150 Tracked £78.99
Global Priority From 3 days Up to £ 150 Tracked £77.99
International Standard From 5 days Up to £ 150 Not Tracked £72.49
International Economy From 30 days - Not Tracked £59.19
I have sold hundreds of these flywheels on a uk forum for vauxhalls called migweb with nothing but happy customers.
any more questions please ask.

Re: Lightweight steel flywheels
As for clutches, yes we have a hard time getting them here
I've imported an F28 and an M32 from the UK over the last couple of years
Given those gearboxes don't exist here the only place to get parts are from the UK or Europe.
I am on Migweb and Astra MK2 here and there, I was going to pick up a couple of Quaife ATB differencials
One for the M32 and one for the F28
I also need clutches for both gearboxes
My T20SED turbo was designed by a race shop over here and has warranty for 625WHP
My F28 was rebuilt by SBD motorsports and the M32 is brand new.
I was hoping to manage 375bhp from the two gearboxes but I really don't know what their upper limits is.
Most F28 guys seem to stay under 400bhp..... but I don't know about the Astra VXR guys.
I have a subscription to Total Vauxhall so I try to keep up but it seems like more than 400bhp is fairly rare for the UK
What has been your experience with the F28/M32 power handling capacity?

Re: Lightweight steel flywheels
I think the f28 is good for 600bhp even with 4x4... i was under the impression the m32 was stronger but i only play with older vauxhalls so never looked into it.
Apart from the few guys that build drag cars for quater mile and top speed... people are starting to realise that building a high powered fwd car is a waste of money and no fun to drive.
allot of people are building track cars now and well built/mapped 350bhp engine can be reliable cheap and plenty quick enough.
I have a corsa track car with a c20let in it and at 1 bar boost (280ish bhp) its way to fast for the type of roads i enjoy driving on. but thats just my opinion. its no problem to sort out clutches for you..
thats a good price for that flywheel, do you know what postal service they used to send it?

Re: Lightweight steel flywheels
I am not trying to steal the thread, however I did receive a few larger items from UK via parcel2go. I believe they even delivered F28 gearbox for one of the members here.
