Hi

does any body knowwhy oild pressure switch have three wires on my Daewoo cielo?
my mechanic chnaged it with one connector oil switch and he said don't worry about it... can i trust him?

3 wires? normaly the nexia/celio has only a switch for the warninglamp. when there are 2 conectors, it is a sensor (one wire for the lamp in your cockpit, the second for a presure display)....and 3? maybe a oilpressusuresensor with temperaturesensor. if your new switch has only one, everything is okay, because you only have a warninglamp for the oilpressure in your car.

Hi
I checked wiring diagram and I found out that 1 for warning lamp and other two are part of parallel circuit for fuel pump!! maybe for safety but it is parallel circuit so might be used to power on the fuel pump before cranking or I realty don't know :?:

if it is a circuit for safty issues then it is good to have it.
