I have about 88K miles on my engine and where I live it's very hot in the summer.
Day after day of over 110 degrees (f.)
I use 20/50 in the summer months and 10/30 in the winter.
Castrol GTX ..dinosaur oil.

it's regular plain old oil...no synthetics or anything in it...it's just the simple dead decayed dinosaurs and crap from years ago that have turned into oil. There are much more advanced and better oils out there now...but there's really no need for them unless you're running your car really hard or racing it often.

This is very informative reading:KING_3 wrote:hi spider,
what do you mean by dinosaur oil
It's written by a guy who's main interest is 4 stroke motorcycle engines, good reading non the less.
At the bottom of the report are even more oil information links
