ECU Tuner - Anyone Tried this?

Has anyone tried the above ECU tuner?

How does this work?
The kit works by altering the readings from an engine sensor on their way back to the ECU. These altered readings make the ECU increase the period it fires the injectors for on each cycle. The kit also slightly advances the ignition timing so the spark plugs fire ever-so-slightly earlier which gives the fuel more time to burn.

Any thoughts? or is is just another one of those fake chips that are useless ?

don't waste your time with anything like that. a while back i bought one to see what it actually is (it was only £10)... it's nothing more than a variable resistor.
It's a 4.7 kOhm variable resistor. The same type of resistor can be found in most old radios as a volume controller.
All it does is send a false intake-air-temp reading to the ECU in an attempt to get more fuel into the cylinders. So obviously it's not good for you engine.
