Re: FUEL PUMP
I'm a little confused about your specs..... 1.2L?? Do you mean 1.2L per minute?john_trickle wrote:The dyno just called me and said the fuel pump needs to be changed its not allowing enough fuel through he said the lanos fuel pumps 1.2 litres at 200KPA

If so that would be 72L per hour.... but 200KPA is only 2Bar ( 30psi ) ... usually the ratings are at 3bar ( 45psi )
I don't know if the Lanos pump is the same as the Lemans.... but I just picked up a Walbro 255L/hr pump off EBay for $109. ( fitment was for the Chevy Cyclone.... a 6cyl turbo truck...which is a direct drop in for the Lemans/Astra MKII )
This should support anything I could possibly manage with the 2.0L..... even with my uprated Astra VXR injectors maxed out with 66psi of fuel pressure the pump is still able to keep up with the injectors.

Yes i think so i rang all the auto stores around my area for a differnt pump that would fit but with no luck the only thing they said that would be close is a bosh motor sport one or a holden one but i might have to make it fit the part has been ordered in a way im glas this came up its something worth knowing.
