I need some help locating the KS (KNOCK SENSOR) for my dohc leganza. The local parts house doesn't carry the sensor and it's been a while since I've had to be under the hood, can someone help with locating it on the engine and a source for the replacement part. Also, a little advice if it's safe to drive with that sensor being bad???

the knock sensor is on the lower part of the block at the firewall side... it is close to where the starter located but it is a bitch to reach... maybe easyer to reach form under the car.
not sure how dangerous it is to drive with a faulty knock sensor but it is always not advisable to drive with a faulty part... if you did drive the car then go easy on the aceleration not to avoid any unneeded detonation and knocking.
