2000 Lanos 1.6 Cam sensor DIY help

Folk i am not car Geek.
i have fault code of 0342 cam sensor fault i did lot of reading and found its common problem.
can some one please provide me some help step by step how i can DIY.
also i noticed car does not blow hot air i think i need to replace coolant or may be thermostat.
does thermostat comes off from housing or its molded in housing? can i also DIY of change on thermostat.
Its 135000 KM on Car
timing belt, water pump and fuel filter replaced at 100000Km by dealer.
your help will be highly appriciated.
i was unable to find lanos service manual either and any pictures will be an asset.

their is no DIY for the cam sensor (yet) but you will basicly need to go some 3/4 way into a cam belt job to get to the sensor... also check if your car is covered by the cam sensor recall.

100,000 kms to the first cam belt? i think you are one of the most luck woo owners... some people here didn't make half thaqt distance wit hthe belt and distroyedthier engines, i wouldn't push my luck again.

the thermostate is sold with the housing as far as i remeber... it is a very easy job to DIY

you are correct dealer also told me same thing my belt looks like new when he removed it and he told me to keep in just incase if i need it.

chances are that if you need a belt your gonna need more than a used belt. if your going throught all the trouble to do a belt change you shouldnt use a old belt, if you do a belt cahnge you should use a Gates brand timing belt. if the belt does smap you have to rebuiold the entire top half of the engine, i say spend the money and dont risk a used belt.
