shopping for air intakes for aveo,suggestions?

Hey all. I've been reading through alot of posts about intakes and such for the aveo/lanos, and now that i know how easy it is to make the change ive decided to add one to my aveo. Looking on ebay i've found this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2004-200 ... 3603QQrdZ1

its about 40 bucks with shipping which seems pretty good. But my friend is suggesting i get a K&N air filter because of their good reputation. heres the link for that http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/K-N-Fill ... 3248QQrdZ1

its about 30 dollars more so i dont know if its worth it. But tomorrow im gonna go shop for air filters and see if i can find a K&M filter for $40 and perhaps just fabricate the piping myself. Personally i think the first intake system is the better choice because of the good price and it doesnt require me to make my own piping. what do you guys think? This is the very beginning of my aveo performance modding. I plan on doing a turbo project in the future when i have more money and when more products are readily available. I bought this aveo for 5.5k brand new back in 2004 so i basically have 5 grand to make this car badass.

Hey man if you are still looking for one go for the K&N it is worth the extra money it is awsome i have one on my lanos

I think if you go that route you have some extra stuff you have to do. Something about mounting the breather hose, and also something about the throttle body. You might want to look further into that before you decide to buy that kit. Also... seems that kit is amazingly cheap.
