Oil changed

I changed engine oil , first leaking from the drain bolt.Then I try to adjust the washer on the bolt , it seems stop now.

I brought a bottle of 5L . Because I don't have the measuring cup, so I try to do it with the mark on the side of bottle . I put 3.625 L into the engine ( 3.75 in the lanos 1.5 manual ), but the level of stick is already above the "Max Mark" about 3mm .

Should I put the rest 0.125 in ?

you got to make the final adjustment after turning the engine on so that the oil reaches the oil filter and after you turn off the engine an let it sit for a while - some 30 min. or so - then you can fine tune the oil level with the dip stick.

the markings on the ouside of the contanier might not be accurate... the dip stick is your only guide here.
