muffler question
hey all, its been awhile since i've been on here. just had a question tho. for those of you who changed your muffler with a sport model or something oem (not the complete catback system) did you just chop off the original and stick on a new one? mine is pretty much falling apart now lol and found out its gonna cost $255 just for the muffler after taxes labour included.

you can get oem replacements for a lot cheaper than that
try here...
http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/perfo ... &partid=25
that's cost plus 13 dollars to ship it across the boarder to you.
you could install in about 30 minutes
(there are other model cars available)

hey man... nice to see you back.... it's been a long time.
I put on a stainless magnaflow exhaust for under $200..... it's louder than stock.... but it will give you some performance gains for sure.
It shouldn't change emissions.
You should move to alberta.... no emission testing here
They don't even require mechanical testing.... it's great..... I think it's due to the large farming community.... they allways drive rusted out crap box farm trucks.
Hell.... I am insured through statefarm and they don't even require a mechanical.... my old 83 Chev had all kinds of problems.... they didn't even ask a single question.... they just asked for the VIN number and a cheque for the first months payment.
