Sparkplug wires & sparkplugs?

Hi guys,

I wanted to change my sparkplug wires for better quality ones.

Which brand will fit my Optra??

And what about sparkplugs? which brand?

personaly i say ngk all the way. and for the ngk's i say BKR6EKPB-11 are prolly the best plug or IFR6T-11

yeah... ngk, denso, or bosche platinum+4's



different woo owners have had different results with each... you can't go wrong wih denso or ngk though

bosch sucks... probably causing my performance to suck but the plugs made the engine louder

NGK Iridium plugs and Magnecor wires. Perfect combo.

me and aymoon are running BOSCH super 4 and they are great.

The forenza/reno comes with good spark plugs already...dunno if the optras are the same way.

Were limited to what plugs we can use though..dont remember why or which ones though.

so does ngk... the iridium isn't what makes them so special... it's the groove

denso = u-groove
ngk = v-groove

v or u-grooves patented... ngk does not have grooves denso does

Both NGK and Denso make excellent plugs, but since no one here has an ultra-high HP engine, with the exception of our turbocharged brethren, cheaper NGK will do the same job as more expensive Denso. I think that the topic that plug/wire upgrades don't really do much to our cars sans aftermarket ignition system has been beat to death. I've had Walmart Champion plugs and OEM wires on my car and when I switched to NGKs and Magnecors, I didn't notice a helluva difference.
