Hey:
Did you know that the head gasket of Chevrolet Aveo is the same one used for turbo cars?
This head gasket can be use on the Daewoo Lanos.
Just bringing this subject to know what you think about it.

Sorry are you asking a question or telling us that it is the same gasket as a turbo engine?

as what engine? never heard of a 1.6T

It's a 1.6 Aveo engine that we have at work and when we opened it, it has the same head gasket as the Turbo has with 3 layer of metal or aluminum (whatever). In PR we called it "3 latas". From what I can understand this head gasket can hold a pair of psi of boost.

Interesting...Aveo having a factory MLS hasket. This would indeed be a nice upgrade for Lanos. Now, was this the 16V 1.6 or smaller 1.3?
