i have tried SR but they got rid of almost all of the lanos parts. iv never heard of the other one...the suspension sounds great but its a lot of cash for a 17 year old w/ a part time job. i think i could pull it off in late spring though. keep e posted for parts

Definitely check out, 360 dynamics. Tom has worked hard to get stuff for the Woos.

Also, say what specific part you need... because it's very hard to list all the web sites that we know that carry Daewoo parts.
Ask for a specific part and we'll guide you in the right direction.

It goes into your AIT (Air Temperature Sensor) and basically fools your ECU by making it think that's it's cold outside, so the engine draws in more air which makes the acceleration faster and makes mpg decrease at high rpm. It really does make a bit of a difference performance wise.

actually the chip does exactly what you said exept for one thing... the ECU's reaction will be "Dumping more fuel to be burned with the more dens air" because with the chip it sees cold, dens air fully loaded with oxygen.

the chip will not affect the amount of air the engine draws... actually nothing affects that but the butterfly opening in the throttle body.

I have a question, if you live where its always cold outside, are you going to get worst gas milege?

Well... i don't know man it is really complecated, by the way things are you have to be right, i mean in places where it is sub zero or so, guys will pay lots for fuel due to poor fuel economy. yet i don't think this is what actually happens.

i think this goes the other way round... when it is really hot the ECU dumps less fuel to prevent the car from stalling as the air it draws is very expanded and got less oxygen per a given volume. i actually can feel my car sucks when it is 42C in the afternoon.

also the O2 sensor regulates the amout of fuel dumped to the engine (through giving feedback of the O2 amounts in the exhaust) so the AIT and the O2 are holding the fuel mixture equation from both sides... or at least that is what i think.

i guess the chocochip will affect your gas milage for sure and people at really cold places will suffer bad fuel milage if they drive each and eveyday at really cold weather all year... it is a fact.

i don't know what is the intrpritation the ECU gets from the chocochip... i mean when the chip is on what air temp does the ECU see for the intake air?? 10C, 0C, -20C... i don't know but i am sure that if your daily drive is at -10C (assuming this is the chocochip's feedback to the ECU) then your gas milage will suffer.

thats my point of view here... i myself not an "sensor mess around" guy, i'd rather keep all sensors do their work properly and focus on other performance solutions.

anyways this is my point of view here... if anydbody got a better intrpritations, ideas, explanations... i am all ears.

You will notice the power... trust me. I'm not sure what the actual number is...

Gas milage: shifting before 3k rpm will get you same mpg as before
shifting between 4-6k rpm will get you like 10 mpg or something aweful like that... one night I wasted 1/4 of the tank just by redlining everytime...

$60.00 for the set of 4 plus shipping to where you are. And shipping of course will vary depending on your location. I would estimate that to min it would be about $20-25 via usps priority mail or ups ground for the set (both front and rear) as they would be kinda heavy. I also have a stock lanos throttle body which I'll sell ya for $25. This is good if you want to get your ported and polished or bored out for more power put want to still have and drive your car for the fews days it will take for them to complete it. I also have a stock lanos manifold which can be used for same purposes. I also have a set of the Euro Daewoo Emblems left (both in larger size) A set of kkk ko3 audi turbos with 6k miles on them (perfect for custom turbo project) which I will let go for $210 for both. A 30 gig ipod which I will let go for $225 including shipping, a 40 gig ipod photo (retails for $500-can store and display color pics at high res) which I will let go for $335 including shipping. Both are slightly used with no deep scratches (surface light ones) and no cracks and both work perfect. I got a set of 4-2-1 headers for a 1.6L lanos that I will sell for $205 as is with a 2 hairline scratches and sandblasted or if you want them repaired and painted or ceramic coated, then price will vary depending what you have me done to them. Also got a stock lanos intake mani which I will let go for about $45. Set of lanos airbags. A pair of lanos ECUs. A pair of brand new greddy profec-ii boost controllers (retaiil at 425+), a set of front strut bar side brackets (missing the center bar-which u can just have custom made 2 your liking, but the hard unique parts to have made are the brackets which go attached to car strut tower nuts themselves,) These I will let go for $30. A silencer for any 4 inch tip exhaust to quite down sound and give you more low end torque( i will let this go for $11). And a few other things. I will take pics of most of these and place in classifieds section, though I think the pics of the kybs are still posted up.
