oil galley plug size?
I read somewhere that this plug can rust through, and cause oil to get in cooling system. It's behind the water pump on the 2.2 engine. I thought I would change mine, didn't appear to be bad, but I thought I would change it anyway. I used a 7 mm allen and it just spun. An 8 mm is to big. What size is it?

Was it there you read it?

If 7mm allen is too small and 8mm too big, try imperial series. Heat can help.

It's a 7mm Allen for sure. In all the motors I have, I've never seen in issue with it. However I alway pull that plug and the one on the opposite side, clean the threads and use high quality thread sealant. Just remove and reinstall, there's no need to replace unless its damaged coming out.
If you do need one it's a 14x1.5 pipe plug. ...they can be hard to find.
