'01 nubira SE AC issue.

Post by NubiraDellwoo »

My ac was working intermittently using the ac control button/switch...
sometimes the ac would turn off on it's own... (tho' the ac switch light stayed on) and if I re-pushed the ac selection button... it would kick back on...
and was blowing cold, when it would kick on.

I notice that the ac system is no longer "clicking" when I engage the ac button...
and so would guess that is a problem.

is this a sign of a bad coil ?
or could it possibly be a bad relay or something related to the ac control/switch ?

whatever has caused the issue has slowly, failed... while acting intermittent for some time.

any suggestions ?

thanks if you can offer any advice

just wanted to follow up on this...

thanks for responding.

The problem was simply a faulty control unit.
was confusing to me... because the AC switch was still lighting up.

new control unit... problem solved. :)
