Air Conditioning

Post by broken »

In the engine bay of my Daewoo lanos 1.5 there are 2 valves with black caps on my air conditioning tubing, when I unscrew caps, one has a valve fitting like you see on a tyre valve, the other is kind of like a ball that has to be pushed in. I gather one is high side and one is low side.... can you please tell me what valve is what... thankyou. btw summer just about apon us here and thankfully my ac is working perfect.

A pic of the ball type valve will be nice as I don't remember this shape. I've both schrader valves (like on tyre) of two different diameters.
Anyway as you AC is OK just feel the temperature of both tubes with AC running. Cold tube (large dia) is low pressure side and hot tube (small dia) is high pressure side.
