TAcuma 1.6SE Irratic Idle

Hi

I have a Tacuma 1.6 02 plate.

I am getting strange throttle behaviour, ie engine idles at 900 rpm, if you just touch the throttle it shoots up to 2500 rpm, them slowly comes down to where it sould be, if you then give a little more throttle the rpm increases again by about 1500rpm before returning to where it should be.

I have scanned forum and people as saying IAT sensor or Throttle valve,

where are these and what do they look like, (Pictures tell a thousand words)

I have run a scanner on and am getting PO113 IAT Sensor circuit High.

any ideas appreciated.

IAT is the sensor in the rubber tube between air box containing air filter and the throttle body... got no pics though
