I've called Autozone, Oreily, Pep Boys, they all say I need to get this hose from the dealership, is there anyway i can get something else to go on here, they are closed until 8am monday morning.
Yeah, the carbon and stuff from the engine burns that up, but its not uber-important. If you want to dress up your engine some more, go to Autozone and buy a breather for $10 bucks, its like a mini-air filter that goes on the top of your valve cover where the hose goes, eliminating the need for the hose. It looks better, and it even may be cheaper than the hose.
heres a better thought, dont buy the breather filter. they will build up oil and splater it all over your engine making things a mess and making it smell when you have your ac on just get some heater house and run it down and out the bottom of your engine bay, reason for not running it back into hte intake is that it spits oils into your intake manifold and starts to build up, i dont know about you but i like my holes nice and smooth

I agree. It makes a horrible mess. I'm planning on getting an oil catch can for this.
OK Well, I went and bought a breather because I had to have something to drive until I can figure out what to do. I had a friend take me to get it.(yay) This was before I saw the other post about not buying one.
I got it on with a little work. I had to use part of the original hose to attach it since the rubber on it was too big to fit inside the pipe and too small to fit outside the pipe.
So basically it would look like my car was leaking oil while I'm driving if I run the tube down to the bottom of my engine bay, right?

Well, I just had a brainstorm. What if I managed to fashion an oil cap (where you fill the oil) that allowed me to run the hose into the cap? That way any oil that goes out through that hose will go right back into my oil reservoir.
The thing is I don't want my car to look like its leaking oil. I will be doing some engine bay 'ricing' as far as looks go but not yet, its tune-up time.
atm i got a rubber hose conected on that so it goes into a bottle... even though the bottle doesnt catch much oil.... my oil level is now stable instead of it dropping when i used a filter on it.... (try pulling it to 6000prm and watch the oil fly lol) atm most of my oil yust runs back inside engine and the oil that gets past the bend in the tube drippes in a bottle
