2000 1.6 lanos cylinder head replacement wiring issue

Post by BANDIT77 »

I replaced the cylinder head and I have two wires coming off the harness from the lower rear engine compartment, they look like they were attached to something under the intake /plenum assembly possibly on the rear of the cylinder head, I know they do not go to the alternator I never took any thing off it just set it aside, all the sensors on the throttle body had wires going to them, these two were left, they come up between behind the alternator below the intake, I'm wondering if the shop that rebuilt the head left a coolant sensor off the head? one wire has a single slide on and the other is the sealed type connector. any ideas? thanks

is the wire green? if so that is the coolant sensor. its kinda alittle nubb that the connector slides onto. its behind the alternator on the cylinder head.
