Do Daewoos have resonators?
I've heard that if you cut the resonator, it will give u some more horsepower?
is that true?
is that true?
tried it before and it does makes the engine more responsive... but i "removed" the resonator rather than "cutting" it

thx guys for responses to this topic.sheepdizildawg wrote:I cut mine off and replaced it with a glass pack. when the car ran, it made the tone note of the exhaust a lot better. felt a little better response with the engine.
I know that there is a shop near me cuts it for 30$ (which i dont think its a lot, is it?)

well, in that case u have to take the centre part of the exhaust off the car then get an angle grinder to the silencer box, cut it at each end including the heat shields and replace it with a straight steel pipe as i did. wish i'd taken pictures of when i did it, but was having way too much fun with the grinder and welder to even think about that lol.
