Its not starting it will crank but it wont start. After i tried to crank it. Well i was cranking it i pressed the gas pedel couple times and all i heard is lil sounds like POP,POP,POP and thats it. So i think i have a problem somewher around throttle body but i have no idea.
Then i puled #1 sprakplug and i lookede inside where sparkplug goes i seen lots of oil.
So i think my piston rings are gone. Plus the guy i bought it from.... he said that its smokes like crazy and it burns too much fuel.

Where're you from?

There's several engines you could put in it. Any Daewoo 1.8-2.2 will fit in fairly hassle free. There're also engines from opels/vauxhalls that'll fit in too.

what color smoke? if its black smoke you should have no reason to need an engine as that is jus extra fuel burning

there is a service I use when I'm looking for parts. it's called junkyarddog.com, I've always had good luck with hard to find parts on there. it's a network of salvage yards aroung the country where you can post a request and they will respond to you. best part, it's free.

if you still have no luck in your area look for and 98-99 Isuzu Rodeo or Amigo with a 2.2. they are pretty rare too but it will at least give you another option. the motor are basically the same, the Rodeo/Amigo has stronger internals and a balance shaft instide the oil pan. you may have to swap parts between the old motor and the new one if you go this route. mostly because I'm not sure if the Rodeo oil pan and balance assembly will fit in the Leganza.
one thing you will have to change for sure if you use the Rodeo motor is the motor mount assembly. the Redoe is RWD and has mounts on the side so you will have to pull the motor mount bracket and all the timing components from the old motor to get it in.

there is another option that I don't really like for such a heavy car like the leganza and that's a 2.0 motor. they will all bolt up the exact same but you would loose a good 10-20torque whicj is needed to get the car moving, especially on highway on ramps.

The smoke is blue so my guess is its burning engine oil
