Hello all,
Here is a strange thing- the '02 Leganza, (with used engine at 50k on it), sat for two weeks. Then my daughter jumped in and started it up. She said she heard a strange noise, started to back up and saw a puddle of oil. So she turned it off and took another car. When I looked at it, I see a formerly "clean and dry" engine with a bunch of oil on the engine. It looks like maybe from the head on down. The oil could be from the trans I guess. She said it ran smooth and fine. She said she thought it sounded like a "hiss" sound. I have not been able to look at it yet- any thoughts?

I will have some time to look into it this week end. It looks like it is coated around the block it's self. (There is a line between the head and block.) I had some trouble with the trans lines leaking- anyone solve that problem before? I put additional hose clamps on, but I think I need newer, better hoses. The leak comes from the rubber to metal connections.

Weird engien explained!
As soon as I started to back out of the driveway to go around to the garage I figured it out- no power steering. Seems we have a hole in the rubber junction between the metal parts of the high pressure (I think) hose.
Anyone know where to order one?
