How often do I need to change a PCV for lanos? (Revised)
I have lanos 2002, and wondered how often I needed to change a PCV (positive crankcase ventilation). I think, in general, people change them every 20,000 miles which I heard from my friend who does mechanic as his job. But they usually cost about $6 or less for the most cars while ones for lanos cost more than $60. It will be pretty costly if I change it every 20,000 miles. Does the expensive price mean that they last longer than regular ones, or it just means too bad and we just have to live with it?
don't change it unless it is defective...my first replacement was at some 26k miles or so... it is not a consumable part so their is no reason to replace it if it has nothing wrong
