Heavy Power Steering - Nexia 1.6L DOHC
I have Nexia 1.6L DOHC (2000 Model) which have done 100K kms. I recently drove a new Honda Civic for few days and now when I drive my Nexia........I find that my Power Steering is too heavy than that of Honda. Require Few Tips to lighten it a bit. I use 185 mm broad tyres. The Power Steering Fluid was recently changed. (about 15K Kms back). What else can be done???

Heavy power steering?
Have you ever drove a car without power steering? I think the Nexia power steering is extremely light! Maybe not as light as new cars, but as mr g said, if it's too light you get no feedback whatsoever!
ps, where're you from? A 2000 Nexia? 1.6? They only made 1.5 Nexias here, from 95-98.

My family owns and I regularly drive 3 Japanese cars (2 Civics and a Mazda) and I've also driven an older Maxima, a Camry, and a couple of other Japanese cars, and as a whole they have light to very light steering, very light coming from the Camry. I don't find this good because there is NO feedback from the road, the slightest little nudge by the driver can send you across a lane of traffic, because the steering is weighted for older more sedate people, so they don't have to put in much effort. Daewoos as a whole do have harder steering, and there isn't really much you can do to change it without mechanical modifications of the rack, gears, and pulleys. Just be happy, because the two alternatives suck. Try parallel parking a car with manual steering, and then try being absent minded in a Camry where the steering wheel is connected to the rack by what feels like bamboo and rubber bands.
