that breeder IN THE HOLE #1 IS A BAD IDEA, THE ENGINE WITH TIME GET TO MUCH OIL AND START TO FAIL. The air go out from that hole no in. So use a hose from there to the bottom of the engine if no have a catch can. But remove that as soon as possible.

i don't see how can that happen... only thing bad about it is that the oil vapour will condence on the engine/engine bay area and your engine will look like crap.

only bad thing will happen is if you block the vent... in that case crank/cam seals will fail and you will leak oil.

Im triying to llok for the word in english but cant find it. Let me try to explain. From that 2 tubes oil came out in take suck it and recicle. If you re move the hose you will have a little oil messy engine like mine right now. (cleaner that those first 2). Any how. you cover that hole, So that flow of oil is not happening, that oil wil lbe acumulate in the engine and _______________ it. If you have a catch can you will see how many oil is trap in it.

ex.
Put a breader in your nose and try to exhale when have the FLU,let me know what happend.

it is not like oil "flow"... it is more like oil vapour and droplets in pressurized gases that did escape the piston rings, the oil condeses fast because it is heavy and cause the deposits you found out.

the breather will help reduce the gas speed and give a chance for the oil vapour to condense but it will begin to drip all arround the breather area and make a mess... as long as the gas passage is not blocked the engine will be OK.

you can see the oil begining to condence on the throttle cam in this pic:

Lanos 1,5, SOHC, last year I mounted air compressor filter-oil catch can as shown on the following pics.

On the bottom of the filter a round rubber part is fixed, so the whole thing is elasticaly suspended. Due to small size, regular cleaning is needed about every 1Kmiles or 1,6-1,7Kkm. You can't imagine what amount of thick sludge, look alike mustard, and wather collects inside. Definitely, I recomend such installation and for sure, you will prolong the injectors life. I choose this size of filter due to simplicity of installation. I simply remove about 2 inch of rubber hose and inserted the filter. The bigger oil catch, should be fixed but with additional longer rubber hoses.
