in a drag scenario you get better launch, but you sacrifice power with it... if you have the power that shows up in one wheel spin, then it would be a good mod... but most of the time it's better for road track cars

i know this is an old thread but i was readin through it it seems like a good idea to but a c20let in a lanos but i was wonderin where i would find this engine an tranny in australia

You can find the C20LET mated to a 6spd Getrag F28 in a Holden Calibra

The Vauxhall Cavalier 4X4 turbo also had this combo..... but I don't know if you had this in Australia

I found one C20LET at a scrap yard in Australia but they wanted way way way too much money for it.... and shipping to Canada would have been crazy expensive.

For the price they wanted I could have easily brought an entire Calibra to Canada from the UK.
