I should sell my metal thermostat housing and go to the plastic ones.

I'd make a fortune... muhahahahahahaha

i used one of those. i had a friend with one who does diesel exhausts. autozone or advance may have one in their free loan-a-tool programs. you could always go to an exhaust place and let them do it.

regarding your blue wires, im guessing thats a earthing kit. did you do it yourself. you recon you could send me a pic ov all the places you earthed from....and did you notice a difference? i have done a few on mine, but still have electrical issues when everything is on, and i can even hear the engine dip in noise when i put the electric windows up...

good work on the custom intake. very impressive.

i'll make a list of my points... but look under the elctrical forum post for a big post about it.

FIRE WALL

BODY GROUNDING POINT (passenger side fender... driver side in uk)

STRUT TOWER (driver side, US)

THROTTLE BODY (cable bracket... look at pic)

EXHAUST MANIFOLD (the engine hoist mount)

TRANSMISSION (this one sucked... there is a bold under the battery that you can get to with a long rachet extension... was a pain... but worth it)

FREON LINE MOUNT (driver's side, US, where the bracket holds the line... behind the headlight)

i don't see why not... could require cutting some of the pipes but basicly it is doable.

i think mine is 2.75... the 3 inch couplers slide on easily and have a little play before you tighten the staps :D

Yes, I think they're smaller than 3"... probably 2.5".
