Need help with my oil light

maybe it is jamed on the mesh thingy at the end of the oil feed pipe of the oil pump... can you tilt or shfit the pan to the sides to make it free?? can you take a peak into the 1/4" gap to see if something is stuck?

It was the scraper. I thought it was a thick gasket or something.

It was glued to the pan by the gasket, and held in by the feed tube

I'm a little more used to working on my 1954 studebaker pickup. :)

what does the scraper do?
