That's what I thought it was too, but I JUST put in 10 gallons of Shell 93 Octane fuel, and then let it idle for about 30 minutes. It didn't seem to help. The car hasn't thrown any CELs, but what makes me think ECU is the fact that the code reader can't even LINK to the car. It keeps telling me that it wasn't able to detect the ODB protocol. The reader works on my '97 and '03 Civic, but it won't hook up to the Daewoo. The shifting is also very bad, but the transmission is in good shape. I'm pretty sure the ECU is dead. I'm getting very sick of this car giving me so many issues. I'll get a new ECU and throw it in, but if it doesn't fix it. I'm selling it to the recyclers.
