42 teeths round tooth and with the cams sensors thingy on the circumference of the pulley for the sensor to detect the position. I need a pair for advancing the timing. Can those from opel such as the one shown below be modified to fit? Found some 42 teeth adjustable cam pulley, but not sure whether the dimension (diameter) is ok and whether I can fit some strips along the diameter for the sensors to detect.
Or are there other methods to go about this issue. My tuner said I will be able to gain abt 10-15 horsepower more just by advancing the timing.
By the way, these cams are exactly the same as Lanos. So anyone with Lanos experience can also help. Thanks.
