2000 Nubira wont start when engine warm

How many mile you have on this engine?
Dirty/sticking injector/s will behave this way.
When its cold? does it start at the first click of your starter ? or do you have to crank it over a few times ?
Have someone watch the tailpipe when you start it (cold) for black smoke and also check for a raw gas oder.
Welcome walneybells !

Thanks for that - when engine cold starts on first try. No black smoke or gas mell. Have been looking and would appear not to be sparking - someone suggested crank sensor could this be it?

You didn't answer the mileage question.

With such little information, it's very difficult to diagnose your problem without knowing the service history of your vehicle and how much maintenance and or repairs have been done.
Please give us more service history/dealer recall history information.
Try searching this forum for similar problems and look in the "FAQ" and "How-To and Modifications" sections as well.
Were here to help.

P.S. Is your CEL (check engine light) coming on or flashing?

Not high mileage, does your engine run well after it's started ? Are you getting good gas mileage ? Does it seem to have decent power ? You could eliminate questionable things like replacing the fuel filter. It may have never been replaced and is not allowing a good flow of fuel.
Spark plugs could be original.
For recall information for your vehicle:
1)...write down your "VIN" number (it's on the door frame, or your ownership papers)
2)...go here:
http://www.daewoous.com/Default.aspx (This is Daewoo of America, If you live in a country other than America? you may have another way of checking for dealer recalls. I don't know.) Hopefully, other Daewootech forum member will advise you.
3)...click "Owners" (and register)
4)... after your registered, go back to "Owners"
5)...click on "Recalls"
6)...submit your VIN number
keep us posted

Engine runs extremely well with good power. No problems with car except that you can't restart it once it's been running a while. It's driving me mad and no local garage has software for diagnostics!!! Have tested for spark when it won't start and there's not one could it be immobiliser problem?
