is it possible to fit a 1.6 cam into a 1.4 head..been chared £150 for 1.4 cam but cannot afford that kinda price for a few weeks. have found lots of 1.6 cams on ebay for £15

I think the 1.4 is a SOHC, so the cam from the DOHC 1.6 won't fit.

would a 1.6 vauxhall sohc cam fit...engines look very similar

not sure so you got to measure both shafts to be sure or at least compare P/N... forget about any cams from a DOHC engine to replace your SOHC engine camshaft.

MM, is there any available performance cams for our cars here in egypt?? maybe even a cam for other car but it will fit our cars and perform better
